Sue has over 36 years experience as a Law Clerk and joined our firm in 2015
after working for 33 years at a prominent St. Catharines law firm. She
graduated from the Niagara College Law Clerk Program in 1982 and began
her working career assisting clients with family law matters, wills and estates,
real estate and civil litigation.

In 2002, Sue focused her career in civil litigation and construction liens
and has brought her extensive experience in these areas to Wilson, Spurr LLP.

Sue provides support to all lawyers in our firm and mainly to Geoffrey Spurr
in the Regulatory Law and Compliance, litigation and estate areas of
his practice. Her roles include file management; scheduling; accounting;
preparation of various documents, releases and pleadings; organizing and
preparing briefs for all levels of court and tribunal proceedings;
interviewing clients; correspondence with clients and regulatory bodies;
preparing wills and powers of attorneys; preparing applications to the court
for Certificates of Appointment of Estate Trustees; and assisting with
real estate transactions.

Sue has experience dealing with various offices of the Superior Court of
Justice throughout Ontario and also the Court of Appeal for Ontario,
the Supreme Court of Canada, the Federal Court of Canada and the Agriculture,
Food and Rural Affairs Appeal Tribunal.
